Monkey Mind Pirates
Inspired by the eastern imagery of the “monkey mind” state of mental unease and agitation, the program will focus on teaching children and parents or caregivers basic yogic techniques to help tame the wild mind.

Camden Music School Scholarship Fund
An ongoing project to award scholarships to those who qualify based on financial need. Over 250 individual scholarships have been awarded since January 2006.

Workhouse Theatre Company
The only independent theatre company residing and producing in North Minneapolis provides the residents of the Camden neighborhoods with an opportunity to attend and to participate in quality presentations of theatrical works.

Holiday on 44th Festival
An annual winter event since 1998, Holiday on 44th brings free arts events to the community as a way of fostering understanding between people of different cultures. It supports and promotes local artists and neighborhood pride.

Mobilizing Citizens for Grassroots Climate Change
Replacement of traditional outdoor light switches with solar-controlled switches that turn off during daylight hours, preserving safety and saving energy.

Camden Community Historical Society
Members research, preserve and foster an interest in the history of the Camden Neighborhood of North Minneapolis. A historical walking tour of Camden is in progress.
Smoke Free Homes
A two-year project begun September 2004 to encourage North Minneapolis residents to pledge to keep their homes smoke-free. This project was about community building through public awareness and public art to promote healthier homes.
Latin American Community Education
Spring 2001 workshops for elementary grade students, and a community open house featuring an exhibit of Latin American masks and live folk music.

Voices of Our Heritage Festival
Performing arts festival celebrating the history and arts of North Minneapolis. It featured music, dance, and spoken word performances by 6 diverse groups and 10 individuals tied together by an original script in the format of an old-time radio show. Summer 1999.

Grant Writing Workshop for Community Members
A hands-on event in which participants learned the techniques of grant writing.
Northside Arts Collective (NAC) community art projects
ONW acted as fiscal agent for public arts events including the "Arts Conversations" project and billboards prior to NAC becoming a 501(c)3.
Camden Garden Club
Some members of the ONW board are also members of the Camden Garden Club. The mission of the Garden Club and ONW are compatible and ONW supports their endeavors.
